Institutional communication:
is one that is carried out in an organized way by an institution and is directed to the people and groups of the social environment where their activity is carried out. Its objective is to establish quality relations between the institution and the public to which it is directed, to make itself socially known and project a public image appropriate to its purposes and activities.In general terms.
Protocol:
is a rule that guides how an activity should be carried out, especially in the world of diplomacy. In the field of diplomatic and governmental services, the protocol is often unwritten guidelines, such as specifying appropriate and generally accepted behavior in state affairs and diplomacy, showing due respect to a head of state, placing the diplomats according to the chronological order of their accreditation in court and so on.
In international politics a definition would be: Protocol is the label used in diplomacy and State affairs. It can also refer to an international agreement that complements or modifies a treaty.
Social protocol:
is the set of behaviors, rules and social norms that must be known, respected and fulfilled, not only in the official means already established, but also in the social, labor, academic, political, cultural, sports, police and military environments. When within an organization it is seen as pertinent to apply the protocol, an internal one is created based on the potentiality of the authorities that are part of it; this allows him to carry out his activities in general. The protocol must include good manners and education and the art of behaving in public (what was known as urbanity). In addition to a set of techniques, norms and traditions through which the different acts, events, celebrations, that promote both public and private institutions must be organized, and, therefore, it is placed in the field of the organization, both in the daily work of an institution, such as the large organization, to be professional and develop according to the objectives set by the organizing entities.
